A native of Austin, TX, Catherine Potter is an emerging artist influenced by the free spirited and colorful nature of the city she grew up in.  She creates her pieces through acrylic painting, drawing, and fashion illustration, which reflect her passion for color, vibrance, and movement evident in her collections.

Starting at a young age, Catherine immersed herself in the art world and began taking classes at Laguna Gloria at The Contemporary in Austin.  She is a graduate of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX, where she further explored her interests in art history, printmaking, fashion, and studio art.  She continued on to receive her J.D. from the J. David Rosenberg College of Law at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, KY and now works as an attorney in Washington, D.C. 


Catherine creates commissioned artwork for notable clientele in Texas and beyond, and gives back to the community through annual donations of artwork to notable philanthropy projects such as Mack Jack & McConaughey, Voices for Justice, and the Big Good.
